The current release of Eddie is 0.36. The following systems are supported:

Eddie is always in development, but the current version is stable and is in use at a few major installations including the author's current places of employment.

If you would like to port Eddie to a new system, feel free to contact us and we will let you know if anyone else is already working on a port for your system.

Requirements:

Python (2.2.1 or newer) with threads support.
One of the above supported systems unless you would like to test or port Eddie to your system.
(optional) Elvin provides a messaging system which Eddie can take advantage of. Elvin is not required for Eddie to work, however.
(optional) Spread provides an open source messaging system alternative for Elvin.
